The policy of Century Bulk Carriers Management Co. is to manage and operate vessels so as to ensure avoidance of damage to the environment with “Zero-Spill” and in particular to the marine environment. Century Bulk Carriers Management Co. recognizes that all shore based and shipboard activities have some impact on the environment. Through comprehensive environmental protection programs and practices, the Company constantly strives for minimization of its environmental impact.
Continuous improvement and evaluation are the management tools which are being used for the implementation of our environmental management plan
Management is totally committed to improve standards and will actively encourage and promote the levels of awareness that such standards demand. Effective training is recognized as being essential to achieve these standards. The Management provides comprehensive training for environmental protection.
